2025 Discover Vancouver Cultural Exchange Program

The 2025 Discover Vancouver Cultural Exchange Program is a unique international opportunity organized by Candiscover Travel Corp. It is a 3-day fully funded and partially funded cultural program that brings together 30 participants from different countries to explore the heritage, history, and landscapes of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Taking place from August 26 to 29, 2025, this program aims to enhance global awareness of Canadian culture, indigenous traditions, historical sites, and the natural beauty of the region.

No IELTS or language certificates are required to apply, and there are no restrictions on academic or professional background. The program is open to youth and early-career individuals who are active on social media, especially those with an interest in travel, photography, videography, and storytelling. Whether you're a content creator or simply passionate about cultural exploration, this is an exciting chance to experience Canada first-hand with full support, including travel and accommodation for selected participants.

Eligibility

• Open to applicants from all countries
• Must be able to communicate in English (no formal test or certificate required)
• Preference given to applicants with past travel experience
• Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in Canadian culture, heritage, and tourism
• Social media presence is preferred – photographers, vloggers, content creators, and bloggers are encouraged to apply, though others are welcome

Program Itinerary (August 26-29, 2025)

Day 1: Exploring Vancouver’s Cultural & Historical Landmarks

• Arrival & Check-in – Welcome and program orientation
• Vancouver City Tour – Visit Gastown, Canada Place, and Stanley Park
• Vancouver Art Gallery – Discover Canadian and Indigenous art
• Welcome Networking Event – Connect with fellow participants and cultural experts

Day 2: Nature & Indigenous Heritage Experience

• Grouse Mountain Excursion – Enjoy breathtaking views and outdoor activities
• Indigenous Cultural Experience – Learn about the traditions of First Nations communities
• Granville Island Tour – Explore the artistic and culinary scene of Vancouver
• Sunset Beach Walk & Group Dinner – Enjoy Vancouver’s scenic coastline

Day 3: Science, Innovation & Farewell Ceremony

• Science World Vancouver – Engage with interactive exhibits on science and technology
• Queen Elizabeth Park & Bloedel Conservatory – Experience Vancouver’s botanical beauty
