The Birmingham City University PhD Scholarship for 2026 offers fully funded opportunities for exceptional applicants, both international and home, who are ready to push the boundaries of research in Architecture, Built Environment, Computing, and Engineering. Eligibility

  • Open to applicants worldwide (UK, EU, international)
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is required. Exceptional candidates with a first or upper second class Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience may also be considered
  • English language proficiency required, typically IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0
