The Ca’ Foscari Honours Scholarships 2026/2027 are merit-based awards offered by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, designed for high-achieving international bachelor’s and master’s students (admitted for the 2026/27 academic year). Eligibility

  • Must be a non-Italian international student (EU or non-EU) with an entry qualification from outside Italy
  • Applying to a bachelor’s or master’s program taught in English or Italian at Ca’ Foscari
  • Must demonstrate outstanding academic performance (e.g., CGPA ≥ 85%) .
  • Evaluation involves academic results, a motivational video, reference letter(s), and language certification

Program Benefits (By Scholarship Type)

1. Ca Foscari Honours Scholarships

  • For Bachelor’s: 8 scholarships, €10,000/year, renewable up to 3 years
  • For Master’s: 20 scholarships, €10,000/year, renewable up to 2 years
  • Covers tuition fees and helps with living expenses in Venice
  • Winners are recognized as Ca Foscari Honours Scholars Scholarship Union.
  • Scholarships may be revoked upon withdrawal, transfer, or failure to meet progress thresholds 

2. Regional "Student Financial Aid" Scholarships (managed by Ca Foscari on behalf of the Veneto Region)

  • Based on income (ISEE/ISPE) and merit/credit requirements.
  • Offer fee waivers, and possibly accommodation and meal services, depending on eligibility status (on-site, commuter, off-site)
  • Deadlines:
    • ISEE certificate by 30 September 2025 (or 18 December 2025 for certain master’s applicants)
    • Benefit application: typically by 30 Sept 2025, with additional opportunities until 18 Dec 2025 for certain cases
  • Results/rankings announced by 13 February 2026; second installment deadlines vary

3. Invest Your Talent in Italy (IYT) Scholarships (for Master’s only)

  • Targeted at students enrolling in Economics, Management, Engineering, or High Technology programs
  • Historically offers €1,000/month for 9 months + tuition waiver
  • Application Requirements:
    • Apply in one of the first two admission rounds (final deadline 20 February 2025)
    • Respond to IYT call (deadline communicated via IYT site in Jan 2025) 

4. MAECI Scholarships (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for Master’s)

  • Offers €9,000/year + tuition waiver, for two-year master’s programs
  • Application requires:
    • Admission application via apply.unive.it.
    • Response to MAECI’s call.
    • Holding a Bachelor’s degree at time of application

Application Process
