Articles, videos, social media posts, links to websites, and a brief biography can all be added to the editable profiles. Additionally, creators can promote their most recent work, link their social media profiles, and add personal images. The new profiles are intended to make it easier for users to find and follow their favorite creators. 

Through Google Discover, the customized feed accessible through the Google app, consumers may get more material from such producers by clicking the "Follow on Google" option. Discover cards, Google Search results, or a direct shareable URL can all be used to access Search Profiles.
Creators must have a sizable social media following and be at least eighteen years old in order to be eligible. Currently, Google demands 300,000 followers on TikTok or at least 100,000 followers on YouTube, Instagram, or X.

Google's profile management tool allows creators who fulfill the prerequisites to create a profile. Google states that before being made public, changes to profile information must be evaluated.
Additionally, according to the business, claiming a Search Profile might assist qualified producers get a Google Knowledge Panel or improve an already-existing one with new content and profile details.
Search profiles have no effect on Google Search rankings, but by making it simpler for consumers to follow artists and access their material, they may improve visibility in Google Discover.
