In the lead-up to the Conference on Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies: Building the Future in an Evolving World 2025, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced an Infographic Design Contest aimed at engaging young professionals in emergency preparedness and response (EPR).

Open to individuals aged 18 to 35 from IAEA Member States, the contest invites participants to creatively visualize key concepts from selected IAEA EPR publications. Entries must be submitted by 17 August 2025, with finalists gaining global exposure and a chance to present at the prestigious conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Applicants are required to design an original infographic that interprets technical EPR themes in a visually compelling and easily understandable manner. They may choose from a list of official IAEA EPR publications covering a wide range of topics - from public communication and medical response to emergency simulations and strategy development.

The goal is to make nuclear and radiological emergency concepts more accessible to broader or targeted audiences, emphasizing clarity, creativity, and scientific accuracy.
