International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025) to Be Held in Baku

Organized by the STEAM Azerbaijan Project with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the festival will bring together over 5,000 participants from 26 countries.

International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025) to Be Held in Baku

Organized by the STEAM Azerbaijan Project with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025) will be held from November 17 to 19 at the Baku Expo Center.

The festival aims to advance #STEAM-based education, foster development of 21st-century skills, and recognize creativity and innovation among learners. It further aims to encourage the development of projects and solutions that showcase the real-world application of STEAM #disciplines.

Now in its fifth edition, the festival will host competitions across 16 main categories and 2 subcategories. The categories include "Engineers of Future," "Cinematography" (VidX: AI Motion Challenge), "RobotICS Competition" (VEX IQ/VEX Robotics Competition), "Mechatronics," "Boat Racing," "Renewable Energy" (H2 Pro Grand Prix Pro), "Drone Technologies" (FlyTech), "Submarine" (Deep Dive), "Innovation and Entrepreneurship," "RoboSoccer," "Fast and Furious," "Satellite Technologies" (CubeSat), "Computer-Aided Design" (NextGen Creators), "Computer-Aided Manufacturing" (Imagination to reality), “Rolling Minds”, and "Robot Games".

In total, more than 5,000 participants have registered for the festival, including 4,791 local and 261 international competitors representing 26 countries.

It should be noted that the STEAM-based teaching model is built on the idea of integrated instruction of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
