The Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2025 offers financial support to international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees at Jiangsu University, China. The scholarship aims to attract talented international students, reduce their financial burden, and encourage academic excellence and cultural exchange. Jiangsu University (JSU) is a comprehensive public research university in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, China. The program is open to non-Chinese citizens and offers both partial and fully funded options depending on the level of study. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, and other related costs, and is renewable annually based on academic performance.
Eligibility
- Open to non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport
- Bachelor’s applicants: aged 18–25
- Master’s applicants: under 30
- PhD applicants: under 40
- Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance
- Only eligible programs at JSU qualify for this scholarship
- Cannot be combined with other Chinese scholarships
Program Dates

- Program start: Autumn intake 2025
- Program duration: Based on degree level (standard undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral duration)
Program Coverage/Benefits
- Bachelor’s program: CNY 10,000 tuition waiver per year (Type B)
- Master’s program: CNY 20,000 tuition waiver for the first year
- PhD program: Full tuition waiver and free on-campus accommodation for the first year
- Renewable based on annual assessment
- Access to academic resources, libraries, and laboratories
- Exposure to international research environment and cultural exchange opportunities
Required Documents
- Certified degree certificates and academic transcripts
- Passport main page (valid through at least 31 March 2026)
- Proof of financial resources
- Study plan (if required)
- English language proficiency proof (if required)
- Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form
- Two recommendation letters (master’s and PhD applicants)
- Research proposal (master’s and PhD applicants)
- Non-criminal record issued within the past 6 months
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online through the Jiangsu University portal
- Applicants must first check program availability
- Create an account and complete the admission application
- Upload the JSU Presidential Scholarship application form
- An application fee may be required
- Applications are reviewed, and selected applicants will be contacted via email
- Upon acceptance, visa documents will be issued by the university’s Overseas Education College (OEC)
- Students must apply for a Chinese study visa and prepare for arrival in China for the Autumn intake

- Scholarship is renewable after annual academic assessment
