John Thompson Scholarship 2025-26 in Ireland (Fully Funded)

The John Thompson Scholarship 2025–26 in Ireland is now open for applications from both international and EU students for the upcoming academic year. Awarded by the DCU Business School at Dublin City University, this fully funded, competitive scholarship supports students enrolling in the MSc in Digital Marketing, a one-year, full-time Master’s program aimed at developing future professionals with advanced expertise in digital strategy and marketing technologies. Eligibility 

Applicants have to apply for admission first into the MSc in Digital Marketing program at DCU. Only after receiving an offer, you can apply for the John Thompson Scholarship.

For admission to the M.Sc. in Digital Marketing candidates must hold:

• A 2.1 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in Business,

OR

• A 2.1 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant non-business field (e.g., Journalism, Communications, Media Studies), OR
• Professional qualifications with 5+ years of relevant marketing experience.
• Proof of English Language Requirements (NOTE: Applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency, either through their school-leaving examination or a recognised English language test. Program Dates

• Application Deadline: July 30, 2025
• Duration of Study: 1 year

Application Process

To apply for this scholarship, you will first need to apply to the programme of choice through this website https://www.dcu.ie/global.

Once you receive an offer, you can apply for the John Thompson Scholarship by submitting a copy of each of the following:

• A CV

• A statement of motivation and suitability for the scholarship (maximum of 250 words).

• A copy of their academic transcript/proof of final degree award
