Applications are now open for the KWI International Fellowship 2026. This fully funded fellowship in Germany welcomes applicants from all over the world. It lasts for 6 months, running from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, at the Kulturwissenschaftliches Institut (KWI). The fellowship targets exceptional international researchers working in humanities, cultural studies, and social sciences. Participants will have access to office space, technical assistance, and library resources. Researchers globally are invited to apply.
Eligibility
- Who can apply? Researchers who have completed their PhD and have up to six years of post-doctoral experience.
- International focus: Open to researchers from around the world.
- German nationals: Only eligible if currently employed at an international institute.
- Project requirement: Proposals must address KWI’s research agenda.
