MOE Hosts Job Counseling and Higher Education Fair in Bangkok

Bangkok — On August 30–31, 2025, Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) held its annual Taiwan Higher Education Fair & Job Counseling at Samyan Mitrtown Hall, drawing in students, educators, and job seekers in Thailand.

The event brought together representatives from 39 Taiwanese universities and language centers, alongside 11 Taiwanese companies, offering a one-stop opportunity for visitors to explore study options, scholarship opportunities, language programs, and career advice.

Notable highlights included consultations for employment, especially aimed at those with Mandarin proficiency, and detailed presentations from universities covering programs taught in English and Chinese, help on scholarships, and the INTENSE academic initiative.

The Taiwan Education Center in Thailand encouraged attendees to register in advance for free entry and capacity-limited giveaways, including a chance to win a three-month free Chinese language course in Taiwan.

According to one participating institution, Kaohsiung Medical University, their booth provided direct access to professors and alumni, including Dr Hsiu-Fen Hsieh from the School of Nursing, Dr Kan-Yen Hsieh from the School of Pharmacy, and lecturer and alumna Dr Siriluk Winitchayothin from Mahidol University.

The fair further served as a bridge for educational collaboration between Taiwan and Thailand, helping Thai students and professionals gain insights into academic paths and job markets linked to Taiwanese institutions.
