Recent statistics provided by tonerbuzz.com show that both e-books and printed books both hold importance for people.

Compared to the eBook market, which is predicted to reach $15.87 billion by 2030, the physical book market is estimated to reach $70.75 billion by 2029.

By 2029, print books are expected to reach approximately 1.9 billion readers globally, whereas by 2030, there will be 1.18 billion eBook users.

E-books can be more convenient for people because they usually cost less than a printed book. They take up no space and it is very convenient to just download a book and reopen the book file many times.

However, the main reason some people may still prefer traditional books is because it offers unique emotional experience of buying the book, opening it and marking the pages. Readers hold strong emotional attachment to printed books because it offers a different kind of experience.

It is clear that preferences for a book format depend on convenience, price and personal habits. It was never about e-books completely replacing printed books.
