Schools closed due to burst water main

According to the BBC, three schools in Worcestershire were temporarily closed because of a burst water main.

Aston Fields Middle School, Finstall First School and Rigby Hall School, all in Bromsgrove, were closed on Friday morning.

A Severn Trent spokesperson said the problem also affected customers in the DY9 postcode area. Residents in this area may experience issues with their water supply, low pressure, or discoloured water.

The spokesperson added: "Please be assured our teams are investigating the cause. We apologise for any inconvenience and will provide further updates once more information is available."
