Applications are now open for the Singapore ASTAR ACIS Scholarship 2026. This is a fully funded scholarship available to international students who wish to pursue a PhD program in Singapore. Notably, final-year undergraduates and current graduate students are also eligible to apply. The scholarship is offered by the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (ASTAR), a government agency in Singapore. ACIS stands for A*STAR Computing and Information Science Scholarship, designed to encourage both Singaporean and international candidates to pursue doctoral studies in computing and information science fields. Upon completing the scholarship, international recipients are required to work for three years in companies based in Singapore.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all nationals, including Singaporeans.
- Non-Singaporean applicants must have completed a degree or be on track to complete one.
- Hold at least a Second Upper-Class Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Applicants in the final semester of their undergraduate studies are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in the CIS area.
Program Dates
- Duration of Scholarship: 4 Years
- Deadline of Application: 1st August 2025
- Service Commitment : There is a 3-year service commitment. Non-Singaporeans must work for 3 years in any Singapore-based company related to CIS disciplines.
