Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) is inviting international students to apply for the Tokyo Global Partner Scholarship (TGP) for Master’s and Ph.D. programs. The scholarship is aimed at students from partner institutions, Tokyo’s sister cities, or any other Asian country or region. The program provides full tuition coverage, a monthly stipend, and travel support to pursue graduate studies in a diverse range of fields in Tokyo, Japan. 

Eligibility

  • Master’s Programs:
    • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or be in the final year of undergraduate studies.
  • Ph.D. Programs:
    • Must hold a Master’s degree or be in the final year of Master’s studies.
  • Additionally, applicants must have an academic or professional affiliation with one of the following:
    • A partner institution of Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), OR
    • A university located in Tokyo’s sister cities or any other Asian country/region, OR
    • A research institution, governmental organization, or company located in the above regions.

Program Benefits

Application Process
