The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Copenhagen, Denmark, is currently offering 9 internship opportunities across various units and practice areas. General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher);
  • Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);
  • Have recently graduated with a university degree, and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
  • Be fluent in English; additional UN languages are a plus.
  • Be eligible to reside and undertake an internship in Denmark.
  • Provide proof of health insurance and a medical certificate of good health.

Note: The above are general requirements. Each of the nine internship positions also has its own specific responsibilities and skill requirements depending on the area of assignment.

Duties

Interns will:

  • Work alongside UNDP professionals in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Contribute to ICT, innovation, sustainable energy, logistics, procurement, HR, and administrative projects supporting over 160 UNDP country offices worldwide.
  • Gain hands-on experience in real global operations, bridging theory with practice.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive, and dynamic team at UN City Copenhagen.
