Are you a recent graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) with up to two years of professional experience and a passion for driving global impact? The World Economic Forum Early Careers Program offers a fully compensated, full‑time 6‑month contract in U.S. and China/

During the program, you’ll be placed in a specific functional area — such as regional agenda, trade, event management, government engagement, internet services, business services, digital health transformation, or urban transformation — and contribute to global initiatives.

Eligibility

  • You must hold at least a bachelor’s degree (or a master’s) in any field, completed prior to the program start.
  • Your total exposure to professional work must be no more than two years, cumulative.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required, including strong professional writing skills.
  • Show interest or experience in:
    • Community engagement or stakeholder management
    • Project, program, or leadership roles
    • Digital publishing, content creation, or writing for professional audiences
  • Be comfortable with collaboration tools, MS Office, and preferably CRM platforms like Salesforce. Database or technical tool experience is a plus.
  • You must be available to work full-time, onsite, at one of WEF’s offices (locations vary by cohort).
  • Applicants from all nationalities can apply, as long as they meet the work authorization requirements for the specific country/location.

Important: The Forum does not provide visa or work authorization support for any location. You must already have legal authorization to work in the U.S. or China for the entire duration of the program.

Program Date

  • Application Deadline for the U.S. and China Cohort: July 17, 2025
  • Interview conducted throughout July, offers finalized by August 15, 2025
  • Program start dates between 15 September and 15 October 2025
  • Duration of program: 6 months, full-time onsite

Monthly gross salary: 

  • United States: ~USD 4,550
  • China: ~CNY 12,500
